The 2013 TenScaryMinutes Winner – Announcement

Hello Everyone!

First I must apologize for the delay in making this announcement. The judging was difficult and our three judges took their time reviewing each production. I must say that I am honored that you all put such wonderful effort and energy into your productions and that it humbles me that you did so to enter this contest in it’s very first year. It also saddens me to make this announcement as for the past 5 months, this has been one of the most exciting things I have ever done and it now comes to a finale.

The winner of the 2013 TenScaryMinutes.com online horror video production contest is: Monsters, a production by David C. Pitt!

I want to take a moment to let everyone know, we are producing Participation Certificates for each production team . We have a few addresses to send to and a PDF version of the certificate will be emailed out to each producer in the the coming days. The 2014 contest will open March of 2014, 3 months earlier to allow film school students to enter their productions.

I sincerely hope you enjoyed participating, had a few laughs and made memories shooting your productions and have had a chance to see the other productions. I hope to see you all next year and again thank you!

No Nightmares!

Rick Villanueva
Executive Producer

Thank You!

Hello Everyone,

First and foremost thank you for each and every submission and for making the first edition of our online horror movie contest such an unbelievable success. It has truly been an unbelievable response to what initially started as fun little project. We really hope you had as much fun getting your creative hats on as we had watching every single one of your submissions.

But now comes the time you’ve all been waiting for; announcing the winner(s). This means that it’s time for all of us here @tenscaryminutes to pull out a chair, grab a lots of popcorn (I’ll need and extra chair for mine), dim the lights and get scared and awed all over again as we re-watch your great work and performances.

Be sure to check back here over the next few days for updates and a list of the results. We’ll also make sure to email the winners directly so be sure to check your emails.

Once again from everyone @tenscaryminutes, thank you and see you at the 2014 edition!

PS: While we haven’t yet taken the submission form out for this year (still sifting through all the submissions and triple checking that we didn’t miss anyone) any submissions we receive after 11:59PM (PT) will be considered for the 2014 season.
